More clicking off as we are posting. Looks like a busy day for the USGS earthquake center.

What, if any, effect will this have on oil?
The President just opened up more Alaskan drilling, didn’t he? Don’t know the terrain up there, but you can bet the environmentalists will be weighing in by the end of today.

So how many over 7.0 already this year? They said at least 20 of that magnitude in 2018. Some sneered but I thought the science was good on it.
One off the coast of Honduras, but was there not also another since 1/1/18?

They always do that. I recall the one I was in, originally 7.1 or 7.2 but then downgraded to 6.9.
It's like those 6.99 sales tags. Always just under the full number.

Today is the anniversary of an earthquake in 1556 in China (epicenter in Shaanxi/Shensi province) which killed an estimated 830,000 people--thought to be the greatest loss of human life caused by an earthquake ever.
Historians are still trying to determine if that earthquake was George W. Bush's fault or Donald J. Trump's fault.

If oil acts as a lubricant facilitating the shifting of the plates, extracting oil should stabilize the earth.
Sounds logical to me, but what do I know!!!!

If I remember my voting maps, don’t Democrats live closest to the western shores of America? Will anyone miss it?

Ever notice that Sylvester Stallone’s movie DAYLIGHT is just a rewrite of THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE? You can even guess who will die next and when.
