I believe they hint at a much broader conspiracy. Why would they be so comfortable talking to the second in command of the FBI. The FBI is chock full of "secret society" types. They are everywhere.

It was a conspiracy of top officials to frame, setup or whatever you want to call it on Trump after the election and to try to clean up, hide, obstruction justice in what they did on Trump before the election. This will be a major movie one day, probably after Trump is long dead so that he won’t get to gloat when it comes out.....but it will come out on a conspiracy against a major candidate and then duly elected President of the United States
