Here's a gif at 900 wide...looks fine...seems a bit smallish on my 50" monitor though.

Here's 1280...seems better, surely most folks have at least 1280 pixel width.

The gif of the girl looks fine at 900 wide. At 1280 her face and eyeballs begin to pixelate.

It has been my experience that gifs are best posted at their native size, reducing them to fit the screen if necessary.

For example, the clever gif of President Trump as posted has a width of 1280 and it is badly pixelated. Here it is at it's natural resolution of 330 x 200:

Raising the width to 500 doesn't look too bad:

But any more width causes pixelating.

Gotta love the guy next to President Trump who just raises his finger :)
