More than 50,000 texts were exchanged between two FBI officials who have come under fire for exchanging anti-Trump messages during the 2016 election, Attorney General Jeff Sessions revealed Monday.

The revelation came as lawmakers have been pressing for answers after revelations that the FBI “failed to preserve” five months of texts between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

“We will leave no stone unturned to confirm with certainty why these text messages are not now available to be produced and will use every technology available to determine whether the missing messages are recoverable from another source,” Sessions said in a statement provided to Fox News. “If we are successful, we will update the congressional committees immediately.”

Agree with you 100%. All the heat Sessions has taken, including heat from Trump, will redound to the good. In fact, even when Trump was dumping on Sessions, my theory was that he (Trump) was sending word to Sessions through back channels that there was a method to his madness. It was dreadful Al Franken who went hardest after Sessions...where is Franken now? Many conservatives have accused Sessions of doing nothing, so when Sessions acts...it will be powerful. The left can't say he's in Trump's pocket; the right certainly can defend Sessions against any charges that he's been “rash”.

LOL! That reminds me of a situation that happened to a family friend of my wife.

Back when cell phones were still fairly 'new' and 'texting' was just beginning, they bought their teenaged daughter a cellphone for Christmas or birthday, I forget which, on their 'Family Plan.'

They were allowed so many minutes and so many texts per month, for ALL of them together. Anything over the max and the charges went up and up.

Her mom liked to have had a coronary when the first month's bill came in OVER $600!

Their daughter had sent over a 1000 texts! Mostly during school! Plus talked way over the limit!.......................
