Based on what I see going on in the Muslim countries of the middle east, I think one would be justified in concluding that the level of hatred between the different sects of Islam — each of which believes the others are false and their followers apostates — is far more virulent and dangerous than anything that Muslims might experience from ordinary Canadians.

This story is from a week ago, January 15th.

That just happened to be the day that the Toronto police released the results of their investigation into the incident, and revealed that it never happened.

The accusation was made by the girl, who’s name is Khawlah Noman, on Friday, January 12th. Friday is the day that observant Muslims attend religious services.

On Wednesday January 17th, the girl publicly apologized after admitting she made up the story.

Perhaps the goal here is to recover some lost credibility. Time after time, these incidents are found to be false and no one believes them anymore. This is of their own making.

My folks always taught us that once you’ve lost your reputation, it will almost never be recovered. I’ve lived my life using that mantra. If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember what you said. Media heads have lied so many times they will NEVER regain credibility.
