New texts between ex-Mueller team members suggest they knew outcome of Clinton probe in advance

The Justice Department has given various congressional committees nearly 400 pages of additional text messages between two FBI officials who were removed from Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials. One of the newly discovered messages, lawmakers said, appeared to indicate that Peter Strzok and Lisa Page knew that charges would not be filed against Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton as a result of the investigation into her email server -- before Clinton was interviewed by the bureau.

One exchange between Strzok and Page, dated July 1, 2016, referenced then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch's decision to accept the FBI's conclusion in the Clinton investigation. Lynch's announcement came days after it was revealed that the attorney general and former President Bill Clinton had an impromptu meeting aboard her plane in Phoenix.

"Timing looks like hell," Strzok texted Page.

"Yeah, that is awful timing," Page agreed. In a later message, she added: "It's a real profile in couragw [sic], since she knows no charges will be brought."

They ALL knew it all!!! and played this destructive game with so many lives. I want them all to pay!! I want them to know they are the fools they really are. I want them to know they aren’t the “chosen” ones... they are the swamp.

The FBI's latest 'the dog ate my homework' excuse about why there are five months of "missing" text message between Strzok and Page stretch credulity past the breaking point.

Is there any Federal agency that the Obamunists have not corrputed? Reminds me of the IRS phony excuse about the Lois Lerner's hard drive crash and subsequent loss.

Richard Nixon resigned in shame for watergate. He regretted the dishonor he brought to the Office of the Presidency until his death.

Now shift to the DEMs, who snicker at the scam they have perpetrated and boast at the magnitude and audacity behind closed doors, and laugh hysterically as they deny the proof as it is exposed.

To presume that the DNC has shame, regret or any type of integrity is to pretend that Satan has love for our souls. It’s a dillusion for the gullible and stupid.

How munch more incriminating evidence needs to come forward before AG Sessions gets off his arse and DOES HIS JOB?

This is beyond ridiculous. These criminal bastards are still laughing at American people and wallowing in their millions.

Fortunately these two were stupid enough to put their felonies in writing. I imagine there were many others involved who did not.

If Sessions hasn’t done anything yet its obvious nothing will spur him to action. We’ll now see if Sessions is a deep state stooge or simply an imbecile. If he continues to allow the DOJ to block justice he is just as corrupt as Mueller.

They must immediately suspend this inquiry by order of Congress or the latter must be held responsible for future injustice against our POTUS. Mueller should lose his law license if he knows of any collusion between members of his “team”. Mueller is no better than Comey.

I never believed there was any justification for a case against Trump for collusion, but given the integral role these two (and the rest of the upper level of the FBI) played in the “investigation” this is a debilitating blow to any case, puts the FBI in an even worse light regarding the malfeasance and politicization of their senior staff, and should be a death blow to the investigation of the Independent Counsel - the friend of Comey. They cannot comply with the rules of discovery now.

I had supported the idea that Sessions should end the charade, but it is dying before our very eyes on its own and this is even prior to the release of the OIG report, the release of the FISA Abuse memo, and the completion (and start of) multiple congressional inquiries. The conflicts of interest within the investigative staff are astounding and any impartial Judge would kill it on the merits.

What a mess...

They made fun of Trump for saying he was wiretapped by the Obama administration.

He was right...... 90% of the media should apologize to the American people for journalistic malpractice. Go back and listen to the breathless pundits talking about how outrageous that would be and NO PRESIDENT OR ADMINISTRATION WOULD DO SUCH A RECKLESS THING (quote from CBS I believe). But they did....

It is time to start firing people - immediately. The longer they stay the more damage they do. Shameful.

“AND NOW, A FIVE-MONTH GAP”

I think it was an 18 minute gap that would have gotten Nixon impeached, had he not resigned first.

...nothing funny here. Nope, not at all.

Why are so many people corrupt in high places? The media must be part of the corrupt team, working to distort the truth.

I have been a critic of Jeff Sessions, but I wonder if this stuff is so bad that Sessions and Trump feel releasing the info will break the country apart. Watergate is lightweight stuff compared to this but think about what may happen if is truly as bad as we believe.

if it is as bad as we believe the country is already torn apart between those that follow the rule of law and those that are above it...

They all seem to have missing e-mails. Why not check e-mails received by the other party? All e-mails can’t always be deleted or missing. Something is very wrong with having so many missing e-mails by Democrats.

Strzok works in the FBI HR department. Of course the text messages were deleted. There is no excuse for this. There needs to be an immediate investigation (outside of crooked FBI) on who logged in and deleted the texts. Start the investigation NOW.

WASHINGTON — The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, removed a top F.B.I. agent this summer from his investigation into Russian election meddling after the Justice Department’s inspector general began examining whether the agent had sent text messages that expressed anti-Trump political views, according to three people briefed on the matter.

The agent, Peter Strzok, is considered one of the most experienced and trusted F.B.I. counterintelligence investigators. He helped lead the investigation into whether Hillary Clinton had mishandled classified information on her private email account, and then played a major role in the investigation into links between President Trump’s campaign and Russia.

But Mr. Strzok was reassigned this summer from Mr. Mueller’s investigation to the F.B.I.’s human resources department, where he has been stationed since. The people briefed on the case said the transfer followed the discovery of text messages in which Mr. Strzok and a colleague reacted to news events, like presidential debates, in ways that could appear critical of Mr. Trump.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/02/us/politics/mueller-removed-top-fbi-agent-over-possible-anti-trump-texts.html

Obviously Strzok was removed because of the text messages and now they are saying they do not have them? They didn't expect Mueller's investigation to get exposed for the witch hunt it is. They didn't expect Congress to investigate the corrupt investigators. It's blowing up in their face.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. My conclusion is that if it breaks the country apart, so be it. Not bringing these people to justice is simply not a viable option. That would break the country, too.
