Correct. There's nothing that says the Trump Administration can't use the FISC-NSA702 system to legally produce evidence in a felony investigation (which this attempted "Palace Coup" should clearly justify.)
However, I understand there are already texts that "praise" HRC's "bravery" for facing her "investigation" -- when she already knew the outcome of the investigation ahead of time!
