Example of the Media's Selective Bias in World News
Google Search | 1/21/2018 | Wuli

Just do this Google news search, and see how little MOST of the U.S. media cares about our NATO "ally" warring against our Kurdish friends in Syria:

I am surprised how little info is out there on how biased Google is. It impacts almost all other search engines as well.

The other day I was trying to show that the Clinton email transfer speed indicated a leak, not a hack using phrases like “clinton email transfer speed” and it is buried except for criticism of the report that concluded that.

Back during the Republican primary, I tried to get crime stats to show Guliani brought crime down and all I could find is articles disputing the stats.

In this case, it would seem if Google was going to slant the results they would NOT being deliberately attempting to minimize the search results for who (what media outfits) were reporting the news of Turkey’s incursions into the Kurdish held area of northern Syria over the past couple of days.

I think, in this case, their search results reflect the actual news reporting condition - that MOST of the media is NOT reporting on Turley’s incursions against the Kurds in Northern Syria.

Like you there is much I do not trust Google for.

That does not mean that their search results ALWAYS are suspect IN EVERY situation.

The US has been selectively arming groups of Kurds for the past 75 years to apply pressure to Turkey, Iraq, or Syria. Unfortunately for them, the Kurds were always our "designated losers" who we slammed the door on as soon as we got what we wanted from the target of their resistance.

Now, the Kurds are the last shot the US/Saudi schemers have at creating a puppet State since Iraq and Syria aren't working out like they planned. Therefore, the schemers may may change the status of the Kurds and let them fight Turkey to a standstill then put in their own puppet to lead a small Kurdish State. Even so, the US, Saudis, and Israelis have in intention of letting them go all the way and break off a piece of Turkey to include in their vision of a Kurdish State.

Well, unless the Turks are stupid enough to leave NATO or get themselves thrown out of NATO.

If that happens, forget about them being pals with Russia. The day Turkey leaves NATO they'll go from being a convenient tool for Russia from time to time to their calls to Russia being answered with, "Erdo who, from where, is calling?"

By 2020 Google will Only show Leftist sites. An Attorney General could stop that, but regretfully, we don’t have one.

On the weekends, my favorite conservative talk radio programs are not on, so I have the radio set to 1010WINS for the news. It is BARF CITY, as they blithely announce that Trump’s ratings are “the lowest of any President”, blah blah blah. I guess they don’t like the soaring stock market, plummeting food stamp rolls, tens of thousands of jobs being created, etc. These same diehard commies (for that is what the dummocrap party is in this generation, nothing but) would have lapped up urine that Odungo, the American-hating traitor, dribbled down his leg, but they lambast Trump for doing good for America. And yesterday, thousands of intellectually challenged women marched, mouthing parroted platitudes against Trump for which they had not a shred of supporting evidence. This is the level of sickness that we have reached. This is the fruit of libtards in charge of education for 20 or 30 years, of libtards being in charge of journalism schools, etc. This is a very dangerous situation and I wish I knew the answer to correct it. It is like America is on a conveyor belt headed for destruction. I watch it slowly progressing toward that fatal destination, and feel helpless to stop it. I certainly tried, when I was teaching, to offer alternative views to CNN and to encourage students to get their information from several sources, but it probably fell on mostly deaf and lazy ears.

If you read what I said I am surprised there is NOT more outrage about this.

To quote Bob Dole: “Where is the outrage?”.

The Saudis are NOT backing or behind the Kurds in Syria and never had or have been, regardless of their own regime change agenda against Assad - which involved us backing the so-called “Free Syrian Army” and sitting and watching as the Saudis, Turkey and some Gulf states ALL funded Islamist groups against Assad, NOT the Kurds.

The Kurds were - in Syria - acting similar to, but also in opposition to ISIS, taking advantage of the destabilization of Syria to affect positive changes in their own interest.

While it is true that the Kurds have more than once been betrayed by the west, it is wrong to make-believe that the Kurds actions in Syria have more to do with “U.S.-Saudi” designs than what the Kurds themselves see in their own interest.

LOL. The Saudis are backing anyone who they believe can gain control of the land they want to run a pipeline through. PERIOD.

The US told them they'd be supported in their revolt against Sadaam after we whipped Sadaam in '91. That lasted right up until the Turks complained and made some base concessions. So, how'd that work out for them in Iraq?

The Kurds have been played for suckers by the US so many times they should wear 'Tootsie Roll Pop' patches on their uniforms. They don't care if the money to fund them comes from the Saudis or from Satan himself if they believe that this time it will be different and they can establish their own State.

You figure this time is different, fine, maybe so. Maybe not. We shall see.

The only people other than the Kurds who actually would like to see a Kurdish State are the Armenians and through them the Russians to the extent that it doesn't interfere with their Syrian arrangements.

IOW, to the extent that little if any of the land the Kurds have total control over is land important to Syria. Now, add to that mix the Orthodox Church in Russia pushing for Kurdish State to the West of Armenia and maybe something will work out. If it does, it'll be in spite of what the US and Saudis want, not because of what they want because it won't follow their blueprint that takes as little from Turkey as possible in hopes of salvaging Turkey as NATO's Southern flank.
