I was rather shocked, I was channel surfing and saw some Dem on CNN being grilled by some reporterette who was asking him how he can call it the "Trump Shutdown" with a straight face when a bill was never even sent to Trump's desk and how anybody that is paying attention knows that it was democrats who voted almost unanimously against the Continuing Resolution to fund the government.

Since we ALL know CNN is pro-democrat and anti-Trump, this suggests to me that they are essentially sending up the warning flag, saying, "Democrats, you better end this before the work week begins and people really start paying attention, because our internal polling ain't going your way."

Media is balking at covering for dems this time because there is no way to spin this in favor of the left without looking like an absolute idiot. The CR contains only stuff the dems want yet almost all of them have voted against it.
