I think the perspective you're articulating may present the largest psychological barrier for many patriots.
The solution is to stop thinking of the enemy as "your fellow countryman"; they aren't. They certainly don't view normal, everyday Americans as anything other than as obstacles to literally be eliminated.
People can react however they want to this revelation, but I would suggest taking a step back and evaluating the situation from within a historical context.
The USA and GB are the two most stable countries on earth. Yet each have experienced revolutions, civil wars and power contests on average around every 100 years. This is just the natural evolution of nations & states; nothing is static, everything is fluid. This is obvious not just in science & technology, but populations, cultural norms, religious beliefs, etc.

If you identify as a conservative, you've already thrown your lot in with Trump. This isn't just Trump's battles, it's all of ours. We must encourage Trump to prosecute this battle with all available resources at our disposal, and allow no quarter for our enemy.

Bingo. I have been thinking the same thing. The Deep State actors here are the same ones who go destroy sovereign countries for wealth and power. What makes anyone think they are doing this as a pro USA ops. It isn’t. These deep staters are country less and only after wealth and power. Do not assume they are your country men, they are not!
They will see us all destroyed, jailed or dead to meet their ambition and greed.
