I agree that that bit about North Korea stretches credibility, but the rest of it makes sense.
I am not sure I buy this either. I think I have an alternative explanation for much of what we have seen since the start of Obama's term.
We are all looking for some sort of master plan by the deep state, some grand design. I don't think it exists. Instead what we have here is a case of greed, on a massive scale. Simply put under Obama/Clinton the full political, military, and economic might of the United States of America was for sale to the highest bidder. I think they sold off the us government concession on various countries around the world. Sometimes to outside actors, sometimes to the countries government itself. If you accept this theory then a lot of pieces start to fall in place.
The Iran deal, has anyone ever made such a bad treaty in the history of treaties. Why was it made? Nobody can provide a rational answer for that. However, remember that we shipped pallet loads of cash to the Iranians. If 10 - 20% of the total was paid to Obama/Clinton's then everybody wins. The Iranians get to keep their atomic program and get a huge infusion of cash. The Obama/Clinton's get the skimmed off money. As another example take a look at the mess in Libya. I think in this case a bribe may have been demanded from Gaddafi. He wouldn't play ball and they took him out. Following my theory explains why we supported the Muslim brotherhood backed government in Egypt. Any rational state department would never have gone in favor of them.
I think each country is assigned a cutout. Libya is Sid Blumenthal. Bill Richardson drew North Korea, probably Val Jar for Iran. The weakness in this method of doing business is that in many cases the concession you grant one country conflicts with the concession in another country.
Back to the North Koreans, sometime early in Obama's first term a deal was struck. The deal included access to our technology and assurances from lil Kim that he wouldn't do anything to stupid, cash was also exchanged. Probably also our backing of him against his Chinese overlords. After the bathroom server debacle the conspirators needed a place to put their server that was beyond the reach of any law enforcement. What better place than North Korea, who was already playing ball with the conspirators.
