If he wants to leave the decision to the guy in charge of the committee, I don’t have a problem with it. If, on the other hand, Nunes convenes the committee and they vote to release it, and Ryan overrides, that would be a problem.
What I don’t know is who wrote this memo. Can anyone help me out here?

Basically he defers to the expert on this to make the call when HE wants. It was an unstated approval of the suggestion.
