The invading Turkish army shelled Afrin canton with howitzer and mortar fire tonight. Reports are coming through of aerial attack on Rajo district.
Saturday afternoon, dozens of Turkish warplanes carried out a bombardment on Afrin Canton of Northern Syria, killing 7 civilians, 3 YPG/YPJ fighters and injuring 12 people.
Following the deadly attack, the Turkish army has launched yet another aggression targeting south of Afrin at night.
Turkish howitzer and mortar attacks target Celeme and Xelil villages in Cindires region and Iska, Basufane villages in Sherawa district.
Reports suggest that Turkish jets have shelled Hecika village in Afrin’s Rajo district at night.
Some bombs dropped over Efrin itself.
Absolutely no provocation.
Efrin was in Russia's district of control as far as air power is concerned.
They have troops in Efrin, but I've heard no reporting about the Russians.

No, not sure what air base you are talking about. But Russia made a long term deal with Syria for a major air base and a port. They reduced force, but are there for the long term as far as bases are concerned.

3. Turks set at a table and make a deal to trade Idlib for Efrin? Does not mean that Efrin will be defeated. Planes or no planes. (I’ve heard there are some Manpods in the area too) The tanks? There are a lot of TOWs, I’ve seen pics of them being used to take out invading Turk tanks. (not recently)
Whatever - as Trump said we’ve squandered thousands of lives and $6 trillions dollars over there and only made things worse.
