YESSSSS!!!!!!
Once they outlawed talking on a cell phone while drive, the rest was a given.
Atco rocks ...
Truly our “last chance to smell the nitro!”
Government climate. My old boss moved to NC.
Btw, I teach rifle marksmanship to locals in TN and MS nowadays. Go figure.
I never got drag racing - what difference does it make that the driver is wearing a dress?
“you’ll pay for the whole seat but you’ll only need THE EHHHHHDGE”
Orange Cty Speedway is still open. And the stupid people who move into the area from NYC b*tch and moan about the noise. They got the means to buy those overpriced houses and pay the outrageous prop taxes, but didn’t have the sense to realize when you move near a racetrack, it’s gonna get a bit noisy on the weekends between April and October.
I miss the rocket cars and the weekday nights “nights of thrills” and all that that had involved....remember one act that had this guy using a ramp to jump 20 cars in a ford falcon...after the build up warm up passes and the promise “ this is it”..( and the ever increasing BOOS)he hit the ramp @ 70,it collapsed and he T-boned the first car...thunderous roars of approval and laughter...( tough crowd)....
Motorheads; including electric motors.
You don’t know a damn thing about racers with that comment.
The raceway has been used for parking cars in the past few years. When Hurricane Sandy hit, cars that were getting insurance adjuster claims were parked there, as there are now cars parked in Texas at a raceway from Hurricane Harvey.
There apparently is more $$$$ to be made by parking cars on that property for longer periods than just one week of drag racing.
I wonder how many mohammedans have been using the raceway park for their, um, ‘ratdrops’?
That law hasn't taken full effect where I live. I still get people sitting almost entirely through a green light, looking at their phones.
