“”She said the test, though useful for detecting Alzheimer’s and the like, indicates little about “his high functioning, his frontal-lobe functioning, that we’re questioning””

Yale medical school psychiatrist - notice “THAT WE’RE QUESTIONING.” No bias there, lady! I realize she would have an MD degree but I think tests she’s thinking of would be ordered by a neurologist or other specialist and not a psychiatrist. We know from her words alone where she stands on the subject. It’s always amazing/amusing to me that people who are supposedly so bright have so little introspection..

"indicates little about “his high functioning, his frontal-lobe functioning, that we’re questioning”"

As an actual, board-certified Internal Medicine MD who treats patients every single day, I must ask of "doctor" Lee: WHO is this "we" you speak of?

You are a f&^%ing Psychiatrist.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Her highness all of a sudden is some kind of "expert" on things she doesn't have a goddam clue about.

Like CAD, calcium scores, etc.

I'll go one further.

PSAs and calcium scores are NOT "routine" medical tests.

Believe it or not these are still the subject of debate in the medical community.

Why?

Because you have to derive useful information from them.

It's the same reason we don't do a yearly chest xray any more.

It's very non-specific.

Ergo, not useful.
