I think contractors get their pay deferred

Well then, I certainly see no issue with cutting the thermostats in non-critical federal buildings back to just the level to prevent damage from freezing.

Especially the Capitol and other Congressional offices (they haven’t done their jobs, and are making a point of NOT doing their jobs so they can NOT uphold the Laws in immigration, so how critical can they possibly be?).

Wouldn’t want to make THOSE contractors eat the bills unnecessarily any more than we would for our servicemen. Right? *nudge*wink*

I wonder if SCOTUS would consider a reduction in THEIR central heating (or air conditioning along with the rest if the Democrats drag their heels long enough) to be a pay cut forbidden by the Constitution?
