They looked out of place to me since it is supposedly a school for Catholic girls. In reality it is just another mill that turns out crazy liberal snowflakes.

Sadly, many if not most Catholic Colleges for Women these days are exactly that. There are good, solidly orthodox schools out there, but you have to look carefully.
