How about real chain migration? Place group in hold of very large ship, fasten a chain to each and to the next until all are attached to the same length of chain, pass end of chain to ship’s deck, and hence forward to the anchor, move ship and cargo to very deep water, like just off Cuba, set anchor, watch chain migration in action.
