Even that is not really necessary with the slew of free info on the WWW provided one can read and has time and discipline to stick to and properly structure a solid plan.
You get what you pay for. The average bear does not have access to the tools and focused training as does a tax professional. And yes, I am one. I spend the summer fixing tax problems for the DIY crowd. FReepers are by and large a smart group but not the GP.
