Margaret Atwood faces feminist backlash on social media over #MeToo

Canadian author Margaret Atwood is facing a social media backlash after voicing concerns about the #MeToo movement and calling for due process in the case of a former university professor accused of sexual misconduct.

Writing in the Globe and Mail, Atwood said the #MeToo movement, which emerged in the wake of sexual assault allegations against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, was the symptom of a broken legal system and had been “seen as a massive wake up call”.

However, she wondered where North American society would go from here. “If the legal system is bypassed because it is seen as ineffectual, what will take its place? Who will be the new power brokers?” Atwood asked. Me Too founder Tarana Burke: ‘You have to use your privilege to serve other people’ Read more

She raised the possibility that the answer could leave women divided. “In times of extremes, extremists win. Their ideology becomes a religion, anyone who doesn’t puppet their views is seen as an apostate, a heretic or a traitor, and moderates in the middle are annihilated.”

The 78-year-old author of The Handmaid’s Tale drew a parallel between these concerns and those who accused her of being a “bad feminist” after she signed an open letter last year calling for due process for a University of British Columbia professor facing allegations of sexual misconduct.

It was and still is called vigilante justice, or taking the law into one’s own hands.

This is the only possible choice without recognizing the absolute truth of rights granted to mankind by God the Father and Creator of us all. These rights are recognized as Natural Laws and are inalienable, they cannot be limited, taken away, or changed, they are absolute and immutable.

If we may each decide what is our own definition of truth for ourselves, then there can be no justice, therefore no peace. What we would have is fairness - a cheap imitation of justice. It resembles justice but is merely an illusion. This is why we no longer play games on the midway at the fair, the games seem honest, but are not.

Absolute truths demand us to recognize absolute morality, moral behavior, moral deportment, moral relationships, honest scales, ethical contracts, etc.

Absolute truth as given by God eternally, or relative truth as decided by man - today but not tomorrow.

Well, that’s two of them. I remember a few weeks back another ‘bad feminist’ was taken to the woodshed over speaking out against these FemiNazis and their me-too B.S.

While it IS good to watch them self-destruct, it clearly shows the hive-mentality of Socialists. So EAGER to destroy ANYONE that DARE question them, even from inside their own gates.

*SPIT*
