Eleven years ago, one of our son’s got an early inheritance of my OJ Simpson 1996 Full Size Bronco with the big V8, with 100,000 miles on it.
He has added another 100,000 miles, replaced 3 sets of Tires, 3 batteries and had basic oil changes/lubes. 3 Tuneups/which he does. His local Ford dealer said with the same care and driving, it should last 10 more years and another 100,000 miles.
About twice a week, he finds notes on his windshield with offers to buy it.
He needs to put in a secret kill switch he can activate each time he leaves that Bronco. Otherwise, one day he will wonder where he ‘parked it’... because ‘it’ will then be just a memory.
