The same in Switzerland. Very hard to get in and extremely hard to become a citizen. A colleague of mine from India did it in the 80s. He was an executive with Brown Boveri (prior to the Swedish Asea acquisition), so he was very well educated (PhD),very smart, and a solid contributor. I couldn’t believe how tough it was for him with those credentials and his family to get in.
