Is the “I’ll pass whatever congress sends me” FR snowflake meltdown officially over yet?
Congress hasn’t sent him a bill. All that happened was the Senate’s “Gang of Six” showed him a proposal.
The bill Congress sends him will be the one that BOTH the House and the Senate agree to and pass, after reconciliation. That has not happened. Let’s see what the actual bill looks like, shall we?
I’m sure Trump was and is expecting a final bill that at least somewhat follows his parameters, and perhaps that is why he said what he did about signing anything that is put on his desk. But, what if it doesn’t follow his parameters? He said he’d sign WHATEVER bill Congress sends him, even if he does not like it. That’s too “iffy” for my comfort: I’d much prefer that he veto such a bill rather than sign it. Wouldn’t you?
I've noticed that the more Trump accomplishes the more snowflakes FR seems to have.
Why is that?
