Lately there was an article about Dewey of Dewey decimal system fame and how he was horn dogging back at the turn of the prior century which seemed to be drawing a line between Dewey and Weinstein et al. However what was noticible to me was that Dewey didn’t really get away unscathed. A lot of victimized woman screamed bloody murder and Dewey developed a rep and lost position because of it. Those “oppressed” women of yesteryear seemed to stand up for themselves a lot more often and a hell of a lot sooner than the self professed “strong” woman of the 21st century.

Good point. She says she wants “a kinder, more respectful, and more equitable world,” which given the context sounds to me like she wants things back the way they were before feminism.
