Never shopped in a Sam’s Club before. Only Costco - and that’s because my wife wanted a membership there.
Does anyone out there like it? How does it compare to Costco?
All you have to do is go in a Sam’s one time, and that’s all you need to know. Costco is light years ahead on products and service.
Sam’s is more business oriented than COSTCO, Sam’s takes all credit cards, COSTCO only takes VISA
We got a Sam's guest pass awhile back and tried it out. It was OK but didn't have the selection of a Costco and just wasn't as fun a shopping experience.
Sams club merchandise is inferior to Costco. My opinion, Sams has a cheap feel. Have only been twice though. Regular at Costco.
I’ve been a member of both... COSTCO is better.
It’s just like shopping at a regular walmart but it has bigger packages. I’ve seen Sam’s clubs located in pretty horrible locations and overlap. Given the choice between costco and sam’s club I choose costco.
I trust the kirkland signature brand more than I do with any other stores in house brand.
And you can’t beat Costco’s $1.50 huge hotdog and cola!
I had a Sam’s Club card for a while. Was not impressed. Costco way better. Even BJ Wholesale’s was better but I haven’t been in one of those for 10 years or more so not sure how they are today.
Sam’s Club helped raise our family. It suits us better than Costco because of selling tires and batteries. But it’s our only choice. My son and wife were believers in Costco but moved to a town with both stores and decided Sam’s fit them best. Maybe Costco is somewhat more upscale. Maybe Sam’s is cheaper and has bigger range of products. Maybe city/country kind of issues.
