And the implication here is that American kids have no dreams.

Love it or leave it. America is now a land where Americans and white people are second class. Refugees and nonworking daca recipients are the gold standard for entitlement.

It is what it is. Globalism coming to us all eventually. Get out of the large cities if you can.

Each of these DACA brats who goes to a college or university (helped along the way by affirmative action) takes up a slot and soaks up scholarships and financial aid $ that a better-qualified US citizen or legitimate legal resident could be using.

I was pretty resentful about them getting free college over Americans until I looked up the stats. Almost none of them graduated from high school.

Regardless of whether they get to stay or not, one principle must be established - no one who enters the country illegally must ever be allowed citizenship - period.

When was the last time there was any immigration bill discussed that didn’t have some form of amnesty at its center?

Even Reagan's deal in 1986 had amnesty.

The problem has always been that the Democrats make an immigration deal, but don't enforce the parts they don't like.

Unfortunately, that’s basically playing the race card.

That doesn't surprise me. Anyone who falls for the BS about them being the "best and brightest" of immigrants is an idiot. If they were so great, our border towns would be the most prosperous in the country rather than the dumps that they are.

Having said that, the small fraction who do manage to learn to read and write at an elementary school level can and will con their way into colleges thanks to their "minority" status - scholarships and financial aid in tow.

Major disappointment if Trump follows through with DACA. This country is toast.

“Mark Levin says Trump threw in the towel. Tucker Carlson is asking Trump why he even ran for office.”

How many times has Levin been wrong about Trump? Levin does a good job of assessing Trump’s actions but does a lousy job of deciphering Trumpspeak as does anyone who can’t follow the way Trump jumps around. The way embellishes or adds qualifiers to comments he’s made earlier in the conversation.

And Tucker.......disappointing. Laura Ingraham got it right on her show.

Possibly, but this is lacking - we do not see the failure of their hands which would never show them taking ‘an oath’ only due to the fact one finger would be in their nose and the other, the middle finger pointing to their crouch.

I mean, you have to give something, right?

No you don't, any more than allowing bank robbers to keep part of the loot when they get caught.

No need to respond to never-Trumpers. You’ll just create or bend facts to suit your glass-is-perpetually empty mindset anyway.

We need to make a deal that satisfies a lot of different parties and Trump is positioning himself very well, IMO.

We simply need to enforce the current immigration laws. Building a wall is simply a symbolic endeavor because nothing will change unless they make the cost to high for breaking the law.

Think of it this way, to keep people from using ladders to cross the fence just electrify the fence and see how many risk the crossing. When the risk is not worth the reward people don't take the risk.

On another note the rush to prevent profiling was not just about the Black Community.

Tucker proved he has ZERO understanding of the way Trump’s mind works. None. Trump is working three moves ahead, at multiple levels, and Tucker clearly has no concept of that at all.

I’m sorry, did you not get the memo? American kids consider themselves above entry level employment or anything other than Ivy League higher education. /s

No need to respond to never-Trumpers.

That's funny. I voted for Trump in the primaries and gave money to his campaign. I thought and still believe that he was better than the alternatives. What I (unlike you) didn't believe is that he is an infallible half-god of some sort. I suppose your definition of a "NeverTrumper" is someone who disagrees with anything Trump does, even when that something is aligned with liberal Democrat position.

Your cult of personality thinking reminds me of the millennial Obama supporters who thought that their Dear Leader was infallible.

And so the solution to this alleged problem is the demographic displacement of Americans with more Third World riffraff, right? I had no idea Bill Kristol posted here as "moehoward."

Add those babies up and count that as what you are giving.

Rush just said me currently have 65 million people living here that were not born here.

Trump is gambling with much more than his Presidency with this move, because if he goes down the Republic will be lost to the Democrats for many decades, maybe forever.

The problem IMHO is that no matter what sort of limited break you tried to cut these people the courts would intervene and expand it to full citizenship.

EXACTLY! The old "Slippery Slope" on steroids.

Tucker was quite outspoken in his defense of Wolff the other day and hasn’t covered the book much since. Matt Schlapp labeled Wolff as a “left wing journalist” and Tucker protests a little too much.
