Please note:
1. Virginia - Charlottesville and the party in power almost always loses
2. Alabama - 14 year old girl (child molester)
1. and 2. are the only things you can read from those elections in 2017.

It will be 2016 repeat
I am happy with that

...a clear recognition that President Trumps low approval rating will be a heavy weight on the party... Really? It could mean that part of the Swamp is retiring, or it could mean they don't want to slug it out with Trump any more, or it could mean...whatever you twits want it to mean.

I have two words: Orrin Hatch.
Is anyone going to tell me that he feared getting defeated this November?
Back when Gingrich Khan took over the House in the 1990's, a bunch of Vichy Republicans quit.

What will result in a Democrat takeover is if the GOP collapses on immigration, and on rebuilding US manufacturing.
That will I think, mean the end of the GOP.
The end. Trump won because of both of those issues.
If they are not both DONE the GOP is toast.

The only democrat wave we’ll see this November will be at WNBA games.

Or congressmen are starting to realize that they can make more money elsewhere.

Yeah, and they also predicted that:
-Mrs. Bill Clinton had an 85% chance of winning overall;
-Trump had a 33% chance of winning Florida;
-Trump had a 36% chance of winning North Carolina;
-Trump had an 11% chance of winning Pennsylvania;
-Trump had a 6% chance of winning Michigan;
-Democrats had a 52% chance of winning the Senate.

Maybe Republicans on the lists of sexual harassment settlements, or corruption or pedophilia investigations are being shown the door before the primaries, while the Democrats will be outed after the primaries.

It’s best not to assume anything but for each of us to start spreading the word in each of our locales about the importance of keeping Republicans in Congress in the 2018 elections. Do our neighbors want to legally keep their firearms and other freedoms? Would they like to give President Trump a full deck in Congress for a little ol’ four years to see what he can do? He’s the first to really and honestly try to keep his promises.

OK, the NYT announced the D will win, so let's cancel the elections and give them power. Oh, wait, most of the retirements are from +5 or better R districts.
Sorry a D takeover is not happening!!

Republicans RINOs in Congress, including several powerful committee chairmen, are rushing to retire rather than face re-election in the fall,
