My man Kevin D. Williamson is worried that the Republican Party has nothing to say to blue states like California and New York and that the party feels pretty good about it. But such an approach leads to disaster, he says:
Writing off half of the country as a lost cause is bad for the Republican soul. It also will prove bad for Republican electoral prospects, in time.
Well, yes. On a tactical level, it is important to have something to say to the blue cities and not to write them off as Deplorables. But that is to miss the wood for the trees.
The reason why California and New York are blue bastions is simple. On the one hand, all the upper-income residents went to secular seminary and either learned to believe what they were taught or pretend they did. On the other hand, the immigration policy of 1965 has filled the cities with people that are just off the farm. They think and act as peasants and serfs, just as the Irish and the Italians did in the late 19th century.
If we want to revive GOP fortunes in the great cities, we are going to do it not by catering to upper-class conceits or lower-class tribalism. That will only put off the Day of Judgment. What we need to do get the upper class recoiling in revulsion from lefty culture. And we need to slowly and incrementally reform the welfare state so that it guides the New Immigrants into the middle-class culture of work and marriage and responsibility.

Wiping out deductibility of state and local taxes to touch-off grass roots tax revolts there was a dandy start.
Remember that the left has spent the last 100 years trying to abort anyone who was not suitable to their Fabian Socialist Model. They have unintentionally wiped out most of their re-population base. The desperate left is trying to import their permanent underclass. Two immediate steps are effective immigration enforcement and voter ID. Clean voter rolls would reduce the footprint of several of these blue states in congress and would kill their plan.
At this point New York and California may be lost causes. For now, I think the GOP would be better served by trying to [reliably] retake states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Florida.
Maybe there will be a call to reduce taxes, and the size and scope of the bloated state government. Maybe not.

Welfare reform is certainly a strong guiding principle. And getting a handle on immigration, ALL immigration is another important step. So far as the secular minded upper class is concerned, this is a much harder nut to crack, but by a conscious and intentional assertion of the relevance of Judeo-Christian values in the market place is made a community value, this blush of atheism and “too cool” attitude will be put into eclipse. This means reaching into high school and college curriculum and weeding out the useless and irrelevant, and determining if the content even reflects reality.
This is a project that may take decades to come to maturity.
But then, we tend to forget that America's original conservatives were the elite from the Northeast whose grandchildren became radicals and agitated for "free love."
Stop allowing them to import new voters.
You can’t once the Demographics change. Blacks and Hispanics vote Democrat because their race leaders tells them too and they will not change.
Only options:
1) Break up the states and isolate the cities. New States comprising of Upstate NY, Downstate Illinois, Downstate Virginia, Jefferson could provide a counter.
2) Break up America into 2 countries
3) Civil War which would require not only defeating the Liberals but undoing much of the 3rd world immigration since 1965.
To me, the key to winning these states is to let the urban dumps run themselves into the ground until their populations move somewhere else -- preferably to an already-blue state. This is what has apparently been happening in Michigan over the years. As Detroit has shrunk, its influence in the state political scene has diminished considerably. By the time Trump won Michigan in 2016, Michigan already had a Republican governor, a House delegation dominated by Republicans, and a state legislature with lopsided Republican majorities in both houses.
Trump just did it winning back Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Ohio was gone for a decade and the rest much longer. Provide a pro worker, pro American agenda and we win. Provide a chamber of commerce wish list and we lose.
I know it’s annoying whenever some ignorant jackwagon spews something like “Move” or “what do you expect living in that place”. After speculating on their parentage, sexual practices and lack of hygene I really just want to say “HELP- or are you the kind of treasonous coward who just lets someone languish behind enemy lines”.
Some of us have family and other commitments here, we *CAN’T* leave, and the sort of jerk who assumes we can is no countryman of mine or anything other than an ignorant POS. Which, of course, is a counterproductive way for me to be thinking about a fellow conservative who probably also reveres the Constitution and our American way of life, but there it is.
Some of us are fighting, we sure as hell are contributing $$ and we ain’t giving up.

The first step should be Roundups and Deportations of ALL persons in the country illegally, in the cvase of Children born here, they go back with their Illegal Parents or we Prosecute the Parents for Child Abandonment and Reckless Endangerment of a Child.
This will Eliminate 10-20 of their Voters right off the Bat.
There is no way for the GOP to win in blue states, in particullar CA, NY, IL, MA, RI, CT, MD, DE, VT, WA, OR and MN. I also think VA and CO are unwinable states now as well. Within 10 years, after amnesty is passed GA, TX, NC and FL will be unwinable as well
