Iran is fricking desert. They’ve always had sand storms and drought. This is pure idiocy.

"While the protests are largely driven by resistance to the country's hardline conservative government"

That strangely enough was supported by Obama during the 2009 protests. A government that liberals seem to be on the side of more than not.

"While the protests are largely driven by resistance to the country's hardline conservative government, such environmental factors MIGHT have contributed to the largest protests inside Iran in years."

Newsroom professionals used to fire a writer for trying to pass that crap off as a headline.

Any journalism piece in which it's central thesis includes, "might, may, could, considered, perhaps, or conceivably, should be flushed down the crapper where it belongs.

It's called "News" for a reason. Somehow "Speculation" has become news?

I wonder if people can now blame Climate Change for their inability to get laid.

Yep. It's so cold out due to climate change that the male gets severe mangina and is unable to perform. See how easy this is?

I’d say the protests were sparked when the public in Tehran found out where their $75 Billion America sent them in cash just went to. And there ain’t a penny left.

From the gender of sea turtles to the mood of oppressed Iranians . . . not to mention snow and ice everywhere. Who could have imagined what the Global Warming genie could inflict on us?

"...according to experts..."

Experts, you say? Well, then, the conversation is settled!

Scientific American has lost all credibility, publishing crap like this.

I remember when Scientific American actually wrote about real science.

NatGeo, too.

They’ve all been taken over by leftists and turned into propaganda organs.

The left corrupts and destroys everything it touches - science, beauty, entertainment, family, relationships, religion... humanity.
