They might do well to move out of the Big Apple to friendlier environs.

I hope they at least get to take one monstrous tax deduction for this legalized theft.

I wonder what’s being envisioned for being built here? It sounds like a hall of vice to me.

True... This isn’t close to that scope.

There will be a Korean exodus.

Even Chicago is friendlier.

Let the First City learn what putting folly first does.

Both Bloomturd and Comrade DeBlasio are Marxists. They run roughshod over the very “working class people” they claimed to want to help.

It’s the New York Way, just as corrupt and unethical as the Chicago Way, the old Detroit Way, the LA and SF Way, etc.

The rich leftists get richer, jobs are lost, and the peasant workers are crushed. “Long Live the Revolution”!

#10. Great analysis of “Movin’ On Up” show and George Jefferson as a hardworking, conservative businessman.

In one episode, the caught a young trainee taking money from the cash register but instead of firing him, he told him about how he had to work hard for that money and that he would give the kid another chance.

What a lesson in the ethics of hard work, forgiveness, and decency. That’s why there are no more “George Jeffersons” shows on TV.

In another great learning episode show, “The Fresh Prince of Belair”, the uncle reams Will Smith about being lazy and feeling entitled to things he didn’t earned. As a judge, the uncle told Smith how he had a hard struggle to go to college and law school and earned the nice house and possessions Smith was sponging off of.

Again, no more shows like that. Conservative-principles black male figures are against Hollywood’s liberal mantra that all blacks are downtrodden, denied an education and work opportunities, aren’t considered good enough to rise in the business or judicial world, and aren’t good parents.

[John Amos was killed off early in “Good Times” because he was a hardworking truck driver/trash collector. None of that hard work ethic was allowed to be seen as an inspiration for young black youth. Amos had to go).

Whoever wrote the story-lines and words for both “Movin’ On Up” and “The Fresh Prince of Belair” deserve Oscars/Golden Globes/Pulitzer Prizes for their wonderfully uplifting works, and the actors do too.

Once white liberals understood that positive stories about minorities, when well written and not shoved down peoples throats as “social justice”, could be both entertaining, informative, and inspirational. No more!

The “rot” has settled into TV and Hollywood entertain like the Black Plague did in the cities of Europe. It is going to take a lot of “Pied Pipers of Hamlin” with flamethrowers to get the rot out.

This is just another off-shoot of the Kelo vs. New London Supreme Court decision. Cities and developers love it, property owners, not so much.
