Speaking as a man but it seems to me women were much happier before this "women's lib" came along. Back then, women had choices. They could choose to stay home with their children and be housewives and nobody would look down on them. In fact, they were honored for their role of raising children and running the household. If they wanted a professional career, well that was good too. Way before women's lib, there were women authors, singers, doctors, actresses, lawyers, teachers, and the list goes on and on. If they had to work more unglamorous jobs because of circumstances (husband dead or disabled, poverty, they got a lot of support from neighbors, family and the community in general (and I'm not talking welfare).

So I never understood the whole object of women's lib, except to ostracize other women who are content with their natural role of raising children and running a household. The hatred of men and the perceived "patriarchal" society, as well as the overall bitterness of a typical feminist makes them unattractive to men so their spinsterhood becomes not a choice but an eventuality.

They then grow old alone with no aging husband (or deceased husband's extended family), children or grandchildren. Their siblings, nieces, and nephews probably see them as miserable cranks and keep away. So they are lonely in their old age.

Oh well, there's always Bingo.

I’ve had three different women supervisors over my career...2 in the Air Force and 1 in federal government who also was black. I couldn’t have been happier and more at ease. BUT they were all old school like myself and came from 40’s and 50’s mindset...when America was still America. The feminist crap which started in late 60’s early 70’s ruined that.
