Thanks for the link. Like the poster at Twitter, I too believe the FBI has lied, and hopefully this move by Grassley and Graham will prove it.
And one thing he didn’t point out on the twitter feed.
Why not just say FBI is lying?
By going after Steele they set a trap that the democrats on the committee couldn’t spin. If they wanted to refer FBI agents and DOJ officials for lying to congress the rats would scream it’s political. But faced with the obvious disconnect between Steele’s testimony and the FBI agents...the GOP is saying we need to get the big liar Steele. What can the Democrats do? So no he’s not lying, which would then accuse the deep state by default. So the democrats can’t really protest this move. And now it puts heat on Steele. Hopefully Session wakes up and gets a special prosecutor not tied into this BS to be appointed to look into this. Or he assigns it to a prosecutor that isn’t corrupted.
Session’s doesn’t have to recuse himself from this part...it’s a new crime of lying to congress. But someone needs to wake him up first.
