Lots of Vets have different preferences on where they want to be buried.
My uncle was buried in Arlington by his request. My Dad was buried in the family plot back home. My F-I-L went to Sandhills - followed by his wife. My sister’s F-I-L went to Arlington.
I’ll probably go into Sandhills as well.
All of us were/are eligible for Arlington.
Sandhills is just a stone throw from the Ft Bragg Cemetery - which is full now.
