It is time for Alfred E. Sessions to go.

It’s been almost a year. I’m ready to conclude that Sessions is lodged in the chimney.

> Vacancies Reform Act

Are there any hardliners who would actually qualify under the Vacancies Reform Act?

Sessions is an absentee attorney general in terms of public presence.

If he’s working on the most super secretest stragedy of all time, then more power to him.

Despite that (which I doubt) he should show up in the news about once a week other than in calls for his resignation.

I'm praying that Stealth Elf Jeff Sessions is working hard behind the scene and will pop up one day soon with hundreds of indictments.

I have been sitting and pondering this Trump thing for a couple of weeks now.

At first I thought Jeff Sessions was the cat’s meow and that Steve Bannon had a great future ahead as Trump’s right hand guy.

Then I learn that Trump was angry at Sessions for recusing himself from the Russians probe. I was astounded that Sessions did not even discuss this ahead of time with the President?

Then I was thinking that Steve Bannon was cool and knew the inside scoop but again I find out that Trump did and does not like the Dude.

Yeah, I think Sessions is a bit of a loser as AG. What, did the establishment set him up as a Patsy, the nice guy who would kiss butt during the campaign to obtain the precious AG status? Then Sessions does nothing about pretty much anything, which seems to have been the sneaky plan.

And Steve Bannon turned out to be nothing and while on the subject, let us discuss Scaramucci....also turned out to be a nothing when I thought, for about five seconds, that he was the greatest.

I don’t know what goes on with this Trump Admin but it’s all very confusing and misleading.

I am sure he could find a US attorney that would fit the bill. He could even appoint Boente again, who was acting AG until Sessions was appointed.

Jeff is doing the important work of the people in ensuring that the states cannot exercise their own discretion with respect to controlled substances.

Fire Ronsenstein for conflict of interest (he wrote the memo justifying Comey’s firing, and then appointed Mueller who is now investigating Comey’s firing), and then have Sessions resign.

Maybe Trump can fire Rosenstein as he is failing to provide the committee the info they ordered.

Federal marijuana laws are UNCONSTITUTIONAL ... as are ALL Federal drug laws.

Remember, it took an AMENDMENT to the Constitution to prohibit alcohol!

The Feds originally prohibited marijuana by requiring a tax be payed by growers and that tax-stamps be issued. Then they REFUSED to issue the stamps!

Clearly unconstitutional, it is a STATE issue.

The current state where the DEA is allowed to prohibit substances on a whim is blatantly counter to our founding principles.

I believe that, somewhere, maybe through the FBI, CIA, or NSA, there are photographs or videos of Sessions in some compromised activity. I think the deep state has many, many senators and congress critters pegged in this way.

Meanwhile, Session finds a law he wants to enforce.

“I think you’ve confused me with the Sessions-hating crowd, lol.”

No, I see you as one of those misguided folks who think Sessions is a good AG.
As for Collins, McCain and Murky, first of all, McCain isn’t going to be “picking anything but the color of the satin in his coffin.” Secondly, the Senate can only turn down an appointee, they don’t get to pick one, so if it got to that kind of a stalemate,I just imagine Trump would do as he did recently and move one of the current agency heads into that position, or do a recess appointment. At best, Sessions is a swamp creature who is “used” to the snails pace that characterizes our government. That posture makes him unfit for the job, because Trump’s agenda will not survive that snail’s pace attitude. Personally, I think Sessions unsuitability goes far beyond his sloth. I would even go so far as to postulate that he’s an active participant in the movement to see that President Trump fails.

That's right. Think of how ofter Holder and Lynch were in the news, on the front pages, etc, for better or worse. Sessions is like a wooden Indian: mute, unseeing, unhearing.

Need-to-know-basis applies here. You don’t need to know when the adults are in charge. While you’re confused, tax cut gets passed. While you’re confused, a lot of things are happening. Stay confused.

Perhaps we could pick another Senator and lose another seat.

Sessions is our best hope as AG. He’s been doing a decent job lately, this is why he’s being attacked.

You have it backwards when you criticize Jordan and Meadows, and you defend Sessions.

No way they would have let him become AG if they didn’t know in advance he would recuse on the election stuff.

Trump didn't know that Sessions was going to recuse. Trump said that he wished that he had picked somebody else, when he found out.
