Bannon’s “quotes” come from a new book by Michael Wolff, who has a terrible reputation in journalistic circles for making up quotes and inventing events that never happened.
I'm not sticking up for Bannon here, but just asking people to consider the source - a disgraced and known peddler of “fake news” - before freaking out.

Bannon wa history the day after the election. It was obvious he had no place in the administration and Trump doesn’t respect him. Whether these quotes are true or not.

Breitbart has
responded and in doing so, they are NOT going after Trump. That seems a little strange, as Bannon is head of Breitbart. My guess is that it's one of two scenarios - 1) Bannon screwed up, and got caught giving the quote, and it taking his lumps, or 2) This is to help in the mid-terms with moderate Republicans, by giving Trump separation from Moore.
