I've been predicting for years that, if the economy is let loose with meaningful tax cuts, and huge reductions in regulations, and lower prices for oil and other fuels, that the economy could easily produce up to 30 million new jobs in 8-10 years, and perhaps more, and that, poverty could be virtually eliminated.

The only reason for stagnant economies, is to insure that liberals continue to have job security in politics and big government.

Poverty will never be eliminated. There are those that choose to live in poverty. However, I concur that the provision of the opportunity to eliminate poverty can greatly increase in this economic environment. Humans can’t be forced not to be poor. They have to choose not to be and make the appropriate choices...and even then It’s not a guarantee.
