Just how in the heck is the state going to stop people from growing their own since this is for recreational use, not medical use, the latter requires some sort of doctor to write a "prescription"? This self-grown dope is going to create a big loss for so-called tax revenue. There's no way to stop people from growing a few plants or even a small garden. I can see the state dope patrol now: shades of Elliot Ness and the years of booze prohibition in which you could drink booze, but you couldn't possess it! California is run by a cadre of morons.
