Trump's first 2018 tweet: Pakistan has 'given us nothing but lies & deceit'

Washington (CNN) - In his first tweet of the new year President Donald Trump slammed Pakistan, saying the country has given the US nothing but "lies and deceit."

"The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools," Trump tweeted Monday morning. "They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!"

The New York Times reported last week that the US might withhold $225 million in aid to Pakistan because of Trump's frustration over its handling of terrorists in the country. White House officials met to decide whether to cancel the aid, the Times reported.

The commander of the NATO-led coalition in Afghanistan, US Army Gen. John Nicholson, said in November that Pakistan had not changed its behavior since Trump announced his new policy for Afghanistan and the wider region, which specifically calls on Pakistan to do more.

Pakistan’s ISI created the Taliban.
Pakistan’s madrassas provided the fighters.
Pakistan was hiding Osama bin Laden.

When was Pakistan an ally?

Because Bush was too weak to twist nipples to get Pakistan’s compliance after 911.......no telling what kind of deals he made with Karzai....but it obviously entailed sending large amounts of cash.....

It'll be fun to see them trot John F. Kerry and other dimwit "diplomats" out to tell us how wonderful Pok-E-Stan is.

Then PDJT can hit them with fact after embarrassing fact after ridiculously humiliating fact after frightening, infuriating fact about where who they gave billions of dollars of our money (that we don't have and have to borrow from future generations) to.

I always check the country of manufacture when buying things like socks. You would be amazed how many textiles such as socks and gloves are made in Pakistan, and I have long refused to buy anything made in Pakistan.

Joking but semi-serious on this foreign agent that only liberals could be stupid enough to put into the White House and hand him the Nuclear Football.

We need to stay out of their business and problems with their neighbors. We are not the world’s peace keeper.

It was former president George Bush’s policy that worked out best for India-US ties at the time. Bush made it abundantly clear that his government would not mediate between the two countries.

“We are not a mediator, and it is up to India and Pakistan to maintain the momentum (in talks and solving the issues),” the Republican president had said.

It was on July 16, 2000, when US President Bill Clinton offered to help mediate between India and Pakistan. Two days later, Indian foreign minister Jaswant Singh conveyed his government’s unwillingness to allow “third-party mediation to resolve a bilateral dispute”.

Even before he assumed the presidency in 2008 Barack Obama made a similar offer. However, that did not win India’s approval either. Pakistan, on the other hand, has always rooted for American mediation on Kashmir because it believes internationalising the issue will work in its favour. The US, it believes, will be a helping partner. And behind tghe camera, saying an idiot dupe to let US be used for our agenda. Like hiding Ben Laden.

So Trumps tweet is a literal breath of fresh air in the right direction:

“The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools,” Trump tweeted Monday morning. “They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!”

We are not an excuse to feed the beast and Trumo should stop the flow of money to do so. Trump’s getting tough is what the world needs to see after 27 years of softball. They can either play by the rules, or go sit in the stands. Trump left it up to them to make a correct decision by what he said. ‘Bout time someone did!!!!

There was, initially, a chance that Pakistan might have seen the light and didn't want to be on the receiving end of our reply to 9/11. But, over time, any fear they had of us disappeared and they realized there were no consequences to intransigence. Enter President Trump.

I'm expecting to hear, yet again, the sound of giant capitulation.

First tweet of the year is significant. I'll bet he considered the psychological importance of that first one before he pushed the 'send' button.

We basically pay Pakistan not to export one of its nukes to a nation that would use it on us. Trump is betting they won’t.

Pakistan is directly linked to Democrat hanky-panky. House Democrats' IT.....Pakistani Imran
Awan.....actually worked Democrats' IT computer files IN PAKISTAN MONTHS AT A TIME.

FACTS ON FILE--- (HAT TIP LUKE ROSIAK REPORTING FOR THE DAILY CALLER)

Then-Cong Xavier Becerra (Democrat-Cali), chaired the House Democratic Caucus, yet he barely reacted when learning the House Democrat Caucus server had been infiltrated in 2016. NOTE Becerra loudly decried the hack of the Democratic National Committee, then-chaired by Debbie Wasserman Schultz who hired the Awans.... which happened around the same time.

BECERRA CLAMS UP Becerra, who is now top law enforcer as Cali Attorney general, refused to articulate even the barest details of the cyber breach at a recent press conference. AG Becerra would not say whether he’s seeking criminal charges against Becerra's own longtime IT aide, Imran's wife, Alvi, Imran Awan and his clan.

BECERRA AIDE KNEW Multiple sources said Sean McCluskie, who was Cong Becerra’s chief of staff, and is now chief deputy attorney general of California, knew of problems well before Capitol Hill law enforcement was brought on board in Oct 2016.

==============================================

CONCLUSIVE FACTS ON FILE

<><> The Awan clan logged on to Becerra's House Democrat Caucus server 7,000 times without authorization between October 2015 and August 2016.

<><> A House investigation revealed the logins suggested “the Becerra server is being used for nefarious purposes and elevated the risk that individuals could be reading and/or removed information.” Becerra was apparently looking the other way.

<><> Hina Alvi (Imran's wife) was the sole IT aide on the payroll of the Becerra's Democrat Caucus, which has its own staff and equipment. Other aides had no connection or authorization to access it. Alvi is on-record as officially accessing the data 300 times.

<><> Imran’s brother Abid Awan had no connection to either the Democrat caucus or Becerra’s congressional office and had no authorization or reason to log in. NOTE: Abid has hired a lawyer specializing in money-laundering---Abid is signed in for seven hours on the Obama WH visitor's list.

<><> The evidence suggests the Awans acted as a cohesive, organized group with an insatiable desire for US intel.

CONCLUDING Then-Cong Becerra:
<><> (a) paid Imran to manage his personale IT since 2004,
<><> (b) hired Imran's wife Hina Alvi as a second IT aide in 2013.
<><> (c) Hina Alvi was the sole IT aide on the payroll of the Democrat Caucus (that we know of).

The other Awans had no connection or official authorization to access Becerra's House Democrat Caucus equipment but did so 7000 times.....using Becerra's passwords and codes.
