Now that wold be the perfect situation to go to the Supreme Court and decide once and for all if businesses can refuse to do things.

Probably people will be forced to label their businesses.
Muslim Bakery
Jewish Deli
Christian Wedding Planner
Atheist Planned Parenthood
and customers can choose accordingly.

You have a perverted notion of freedom. You are endorsing the tyranny of the majority.

No, no, I’m not endorsing. It is what is re laws. I understand that due to the past when blacks and Jews couldn’t live in certain areas, one can’t not sell or rent to groups of people you don’t happen to like. We are forced to live with those non discrimination laws. Real freedom would allow people to discriminate. Sometimes we get morally and legally stuck.

I always am reminded of one of my mad crushes when I was younger, possibly my first crush on a dead man, Groucho Marx. Who was allowed due to his fame to be an exception and invited to join a waspy country club in L.A.

His written response to them was the classic: “Thank you for your offer, but I politely decline. I refuse to belong to any club that would accept someone like me as a member.”

So I’m torn with these laws. In this case, probably going along with Caesar is fairer, if not perfectly free.
