“That’s going to be very, very powerful,” Waters said. “That database will have information about everything on every individual on ways that it’s never been done before and whoever runs for President on the Democratic ticket has to deal with that. They’re going to go down with that database and the concerns of those people because they can’t get around it. And he’s [President Obama] been very smart. It’s very powerful what he’s leaving in place.”
Just watched Snowden the movie and it seems this is exactly what he revealed. Media swept it u dear the rug with fake coverage do Obama fixing it.

I agree with that, the way things stand now.
Hatch is slowing down with age (83), and was thinking about getting out. It seems that all the coordination at Church HQ has been completed for Romney to succeed him - it is just a matter of Hatch deciding to go. It is unknown if he has already committed retire, or if the preparations were just made out of prudence.
At the tax cut announcement, Hatch did seem jazzed about Trump’s performance as leader for the Republicans, and evidenced a renewed zeal for his job. I hope that he decides to run again.
Although Hatch has drifted toward the center (the swamp) on some things over the years, he really has always been a Senator of exceptional character. He has always been one of the few with a bedrock moral compass. I trust his instincts a hundred times over those of Romney.
We need Romney as an example of why some “Republicans” have screwed Constitutional Conservatives over the decades.......we have no use for him in a seat where he can continue the practice.
