“What a despicable POS.”

Yes, but they other POS was the cop who shot the man to death. This whole business of SWAT teams needs to be revisited. An innocent man being shot to death because of a bunch of amped up goosy SWAT cops is unacceptable. COPS GOING FOR THEIR GUNS AS A FIRST RESORT is criminal! And saying they’re sorry for the “mistake” doesn’t absolve them.

No, it doesn’t. If I was discombobulated by a SWAT invasion, I might not be following their instructions either. I can’t imagine how terrifying that would be.

Exactly—the cop shooting to kill when someone opening his door to a SWAT team is perceived to make a hand movement near his waist is part of an all too common trend that needs to be addressed.
