Indeed the POS in LA should be reamed a good one, however Im extremely concerned about the fatal shooting of an innocent, unarmed citizen within their own home by the police. What happened to due diligence on the officers part? Other than an anonymous phone call from a number 1000 miles away, what other probable cause did the police have to utilize deadly force or ANY force at all? The officer/officers involved in this fatal shoot need to be charged otherwise EVERY citizen is/continue to be vulnerable to reckless government actions such as this.

I’m with you: yes, the crud who called the false report in deserves severe punishment. - but the really important issue is how police doctrine and tactics changed to “shoot now and often”.
The guy was a dad, completely innocent and he did not deserve to be murdered in front of his family. I would even suggest that his life, as a US citizen, was every bit as important as a police officer’s life.
If our police are too scared, or too stupid, or too uncaring - maybe it’s time to shitcan the whole force and start over.
There was a rash of these things a few years ago that abated. It seems to be coming back like a resurrected fad. If it gets bad enough then the citizens will start feeling that if the cops comes to the door you might as take one with you because you are going to get killed.
