What?
No emotional support pigs?
how about they just because nice and polite and courteous and give us back those several inches of room for our legs?...
I was on a flight a few months back, and there was a dog on board. Yapped constantly. I can’t understand the need for having a dog in the passenger section, especially one that is not muzzled. I didn’t care, as the dog was more tolerable than the babies and kids making noise. But still, planes should only have people in the passenger section.
I am tired of all the dogs at the airports and now crowding the planes. LEAVE THE DOGS AT HOME.
Another bad federal law that is being abused by low life losers, while people who really are in need of a service animal pay the price.
Gonna take my support yak with me on the next flight. “Mind the horns, lady!”
Why don’t they adapt Israeli security methods and quit molesting people? End of problem.
How long until people start stepping in dog-shiite?
I flew United to and from Chicago this week in 737s
There were at least three dogs on each flight. Only one of them was wearing an “On The Job” type vest. The rest just looked like pets.
Pooches growing in airports?
Is there a special room or something where these dogs are grown?
Are there separate rooms for the different breeds and for their abilities?
Are the growing ‘rooms’ (or whatever they are) for sale and they are available to the public?
Do they come in puppy sizes?
Is there lifetime guarantees?
What’s the warrantee?
I’m all for actual service dogs on the plane, but “therapy” dogs? It’s been abused. And so many times it’s a pet and not been trained to be used to crowds and strange places/noises. Not very kind to the dog.
I keep noticing dogs in the grocery stores now. There used to be signs against it. Then it was service dogs allowed. Now I see mostly chihuahuas and yorkies in peoples carts etc. I know they are not all service dogs. But they say they are.
Otherwise? Don't get me started talking about narcissism,spinelessness....
Screaming, fussing human children. Now that's another thing altogether. I could do without them on airplanes entirely. Or restaurants. Or any other public place.
When I would fly to California for 2 weeks I would take my shih tzu with me. He was not a therapy dog. I had to pay $90 for him to travel under the seat in his travel case. (It is alot more expensive now. It would have cost me more for a kennel at the time.)
He had to have completed physical and shot record from vet that he was ok to travel. His crate had to meet required size and special puppy pad in it.
Bandit did not make a sound until I got up to go to rest room. Then I would cover crate with blanket and he did not know I was gone.
I absolutely refuse to lie about a pet being a service dog. Others may do it but they just don’t realize they have to answer to God someday for that and that issue is on them. I know I could have gotten him into timeshare with me if I lied and would have saved a lot of money at a kennel if I had. Funny thing was that the manager of that time share told me she lies to get her dog into hotels and timeshares.
There was an elderly lady at the Pharmacy today who had some kind of mop like service dog on the counter while paying.
If my Jack Russell got loose on a plane they would have to declare an inflight emergency.
If you can’t fly without a dog, cat, pig or Orangutan, you should stay home! This is the Snowflake world beating us up again. Stop the madness, it is a ploy to fly the pet for free instead of paying for a kennel in the baggage pit.
My only “pet” is my wife and I need her by my side, always.
