Nat Cole was best known for his jazz piano work, and he took to singing to get more attention for his piano. It ended up opening up a whole new career for him. He was to become a dominant force in popular music until his death in 1965.

My Dad loved Nat King Cole’s music. “Ramblin’ Rose” was a favorite of his.
