Thus 51% are non white police officers. So I guess if the entire police department feels that way, they probably have good reason, and it is not racism.
If eighty or ninety percent of a particular group wants to kill you, you can’t treat them all as if they are the one who won’t kill you. That would be crazy...and lethal.
I know a black who is a really decent standup guy. We were going out to grab a bite and he slipped into a sport coat. I asked why and he said, “The better I dress the less hassle I get.” He also said he was unfailingly polite with, “Yes, sir. No, sir.” Unbeknownst to him, his brother had stolen his identity and used it in an arrest. When my buddy got stopped he came back with outstanding warrants. But because he was well dressed and very polite, the cop gave him the opportunity to show up and prove who was who. I was so impressed, both by the cop and my buddy.
Why would white people see her son as a “thug”?

Hey Tamar, you might want to consider supporting the police and turning your attention to the behavioral problems within the urban black community.

I can’t get to the NYT site, but reading just this snip, I can say “Hey, Lady! Leave Chicago already”!

Not going to waste any of my monthly NYT allotment on this dribble, but all of these articles seem to run along the same lines, someone “fears” that something might happen to somebody innocent, even though nothing has, and therefore everyone else needs to somehow feel guilty for it. No, lady, if you can find it within you to spare inflicting your own psychosis of racial victimhood on him, his chances of success or failure in life, or of suffering a major injustice of one sort of the other, will be the same as anyone else out there.
Well people who are in violent, out of control, murderous gangs view others as being like themselves.
This is why racial reputation is important. A high percentage of blacks in the inner city have criminal records. Ever wonder why police assume most asians or orthodox Jews are criminals? Statistics.
Appearance is also important. Also does your son look, dress or talk like a gang member? Does he hang with people that do? If you want to save your son the best thing you can do is keep him away from ghetto culture.
