So sick of the stupid attitudes toward the competence of children. Cant be unattended, but its okay to teach a 9-year-old about sex and how to protect against pregnancy.”””
California now has ADDED a book/course on LBGTQ & it is taught to every kid & at a very young age.
The parents CAN NOT opt their kids out of this class.
This is what ‘education’ has become today in California.
MY kid would be home schooled before the next sunrise.

"Hell put an eye out." But not his. A close range eye shot even with a CO2 BB stands a good chance of reaching the brain.

I bought high-quality pellet pistols for my sons this Christmas. In poor light, the pellet pistols look enough like the guns they are modeled on that if one was pointed at you, you wouldn't want to risk it - it's probably a pellet pistol but there is some chance that it's a 9mm or a .45. Most wouldn't risk it at that range because if it is a 9mm, you've just gone all in.
Actually, I suspect that it was a presence of the kid, not the pistol that deterred the potential car thief. The thief probably didn't know he was there. Grand theft auto is one thing but grand theft auto AND kidnapping is far more serious.

Yes, feet per second. When .177 or .22 pellets approach the speed of sound, they can penetrate the cranium and do havoc in the brain pan. I have pellet rifles that are sending .177 pellets downrange at 1200 fps muzzle velocity. Several CO2 pellet pistols clock faster than advertised on their box yet can be purchased at places like WalMart without a background check. Very nice pest control tools ... like darn woodpeckers!
