We need to consider filing charges of bribery against United Airlines.
S/J/L’s “elite global status” with United Airlines has nothing to do with “earned miles.”
This looks more like United Airlines participating in a form of bribery to appease a demanding member of Congress.
An enterprising journalist would do well to reserve seat 1A on flights that fit SJL’s schedule between Houston and DC. It wouldn’t take long to catch either UAL or The Queen misbehaving.
