Can’t resist, WaPo and Politico: Has Alan lost the seven pounds because he is no longer eating out at friends’ invitations? Or . . .
I'd argue, they were never your friend to begin with.
I lost a dear friend of 15 years due to his enthusiastic support for Odungo. He was a knee jerk liberal and was in love with the idea of a black president. I am neither. He was also a union droid, who followed the union's party line without question. To this day, I cannot wrap my mind around his jettisoning a close friend of 15 years because I did not want to continue to receive "Vote for Odungo!" emails from him. And now, even libtards can begin to see the great harm Odungo caused our nation. Although he has taken up residence only about 2 blocks from me, it is too late to salvage our friendship--because his new digs are in the nearby cemetery. Another tragedy caused by Odungo, albeit on a micro scale. But it was important to ME.
They weren’t your friends, Alan.
“And much to my surprise, the food tastes better,” he could have continued to say.
An esteemed law professor actually defends the US Constitution, and his very liberal “friends” promptly disown him.... says it all about the state of so-called “liberalism” in this country..... very ILLiberal and intolerant.
They are like that, Alan. Tow the lie, or die. And they are not liberals so much as they are communists.
That’s a shame. Like many of us I suspect, I find myself testing the waters with people who I would like to keep as friends before mentioning anything politiical. Don’t ask, don’t tell still works as long as both sides are willing to abide by those rules and enjoy their other common interests.
I can’t imagine having my beliefs changed by what someone else tells me I should think, so I give them the same respect and don’t attempt to convert people.
Good to see the rare liberal who values honesty and the rule of law.
Remember, it is a core value of Progressives that lying and deceit is justified to advance the Progressive agenda.
I have some liberal relatives and acquaintances that I have to tolerate on occasion. I wouldn’t call them my friends because I cannot be myself around them. I have to be very careful what I say because, like all liberals, they are so easily offended.
I suspect Alan is still a Liberal. And, will likely always be a Liberal. Having said that, he is first and foremost, a believer and defender of the Constitution and the rule of law.
Cannot be done. Progressivism has always been about degrading and overthrowing the Constitution and the rule of law.
I don’t have any liberal friends.
I don’t have any liberal friends.
“Dersh was a fervent supporter of the Clintons and Gore if I recall. Hmmm, wonder what changed him? Perhaps being that he is Jewish, he figured out that the real Nazis were the Democrats?”
Doesn’t matter....he’d do it all over again. His real religion...liberalism...supersedes all else. He’d take your guns in a New York minute.
Sad stories about “Big Tent Libs”
Slamming the door on Friends.
We all got That same story.
As the left gets more and more openly racist, it drives zionists and intellectuals away. It moves closer to the Antifa position, which is violence against dissent.
What happened?
Well Alan, libs will be libs. I’ve damn near been disowned by liberal family members.
I'll settle for that. It's why the Constitution was written.
He is an honest and principled man that happens to be a Democrat.
That is a contradiction in terms. Although technically I suppose one could be a Democrat and not be a liberal.
