Trump on the Rampage
American Thinker ^ | Dec 27, 2017 | Tim Mostert

Donald Trump has been an overachieving workaholic for most of his adult life, but he’s also surrounded himself with overachievers. In addition to being accustomed to getting a lot done on a regular basis, Trump has always been a quick learner, with the ability to implement knowledge as he picks up insights into unfamiliar processes. The way he’s ended 2017, with such important accomplishments under his belt, shows that he’s finding his feet as President, and getting comfortable with the production pipeline of government. If you look at how Trump’s momentum has built month-by-month as he figured out how to get things done in his new surroundings, you’ll know that 2018 is going to be dynamite.

Take the recent tax bill, for example. Because it was passed relatively quickly, a lot of the significance of this legislation has slipped under the radar. This thing is massive, and will turbocharge the economy, which Trump has already kick-started. How has he kick-started the economy? By scrapping so many of the regulations that the Dems had saddled the system with. I don’t know what it is with the Left, but they love to put ballast on any potential successes, if they’re not part of the government system. It’s not worth the time speculating why these things go on in their little heads. They just do. The best thing to do is move ahead without them, which is precisely what the President does. And now it’s what the other Republicans see they can also do, which has been an epiphany for them.

How did something so complex get passed so quickly? In the first place, a lot of very talented people had been working on this for a long time, and it was nearly ready to go.

I'm sure many Democrats and progressives are tired of winning by now. I'm not.

I am thinking that we have until September 2018 for the economy to pick up enough steam to give us a “good” mid-term election. If the people can’t feel the better times, the constant drumbeat of negativity is going to cost us.

I am beginning to have some hope that this glorious SOB will pull it off...

Ronaldus Magnus, meet Trumpus Maximus.

Its about time we read a column on President Trump’s executive talents. One doesn’t amass a several billion dollar plus real estate fortune without incredible drive and people skills.

The congressional GOP recently learned it is electorally safe to support DJT. We can indeed Make America Great Again.

P!ss on the Left. They would rather preside over a miserable America in decline, that be bystanders in a happy and prosperous country.

The economy is smokin right now, thanks to President Trump’s policies.

The market is smashing records on a near daily basis, GDP is back up, unemployment is low, jobs are plentiful in many parts of the country, 1947 business-crushing regulations are gone, the Obamacare mandate is gone, tax reform is going to repatriate massive amounts of money, employers are cutting bonus checks to employees, and on it goes.

Christmas retail sales were the highest in many years.

Thank you, Mr President.

If you call at 3 am President Trump is awake and on the job. Maybe once in a while, for fun, he calls Hillary to see if she’s awake too.

I think a key part of the tax bill (or rather its impact) is the announcement by several banks that they are raising pay to the magical $15, the so-called "living wage." The point to be touted is that by eliminating some of the government burden, companies are able to compensate their employees in a manner that should make SJW smile. This is not a one-size-fits-all dictate imposed upon businesses regardless of their ability to remain open. This is a perfect example of how less government can achieve a desired outcome without killing off a host of small businesses.

One thing I’ll say, is that he’s probably pretty aggravated at just how slooowwww government does anything.

They hate business.

Like a big steam roller, he doesn’t go around resistance, he rolls right over it and crushes it into the ground.

And a few more bucks in our Social Security checks and my DOD Civilian retirement and my military retirement - which all fell by the wayside under Obama because rising prices for essentials did not equate to inflation/higher cost of living.

Had an old Navy retired officer bitching about Trump the other day because SS and Mil retirement pay wasn't going up as much as he wanted. When asked who was President when the raises stopped and then when they finally resumed again, he just mumbled it wasn't right to not get COLA raises....amazing how they can feel the pinch but never realize who it is doing the pinching....

It all comes down to the old media coverage, and it ain’t gonna be good. The lies, the deceptions, and the distortions, will only intensify. The old media yet retains great power. Think back to how they shifted all the blame for the Obama’s treachery, to congress. Congress was barely able to breath without some new attack blamed on them, when it was Obama and the rats that bore 100% of the culpability. They even succeeded in blaming a republican congress for the hijacking of healthcare. Bo simply sat on his perch and smiled while his allies in the old media did the blame shift for him. Never has such a rotten criminal enjoyed such support, never, and he did it using his skin color as a righteous shield.

-—— By scrapping so many of the regulations ——

Scrapping is all well and good, but how do the regulatees know they are no longer regulated?

Is it trickle down?

One of the main functions of a President is to be a cheerleader for the nation.
Trump has excelled at this. He loves the country and shows it.
He talks it up, not down.

What a refreshing and welcome change from the previous occupant of the WH,
who didn’t understand American Exceptionalism
and thought the country “fundamentally flawed” and in need of being “fundamentally transformed”.

“I am thinking that we have until September 2018 for the economy to pick up enough steam to give us a “good” mid-term election.”

I’m seeing lots of “Help Wanted” signs in my area of the country. One key to a recovering economy will be seeing the nearly empty mini-malls start to fill up with small businesses, both retail and service businesses. I’m starting to see that happen on a small scale.

Just a little evidence to your statement. Alabama unemployment at 3.5 in November down from 6.4 in January. Smoking!

I’d love to have a job in this White House. I’d settle for cleaning commodes and emptying trash cans.

MAGA!
