CBO: At Least 4.5M Anchor Babies In U.S. (Chain Migration)

There are an estimated 4.5 million United States-born children who were given birthright citizenship despite at least one of their parents being an illegal alien. These children are commonly known as “anchor babies,” as they are able to eventually bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S. through the process known as “chain migration.”

A new Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report reveals the extent to which the illegal alien population in the U.S. has had children that are given automatic citizenship simply for being born within the borders of the country.

According to the CBO, there are 4.5 million anchor babies in the U.S. under the age of 18-years-old. This estimate does not include the potentially millions of anchor babies who are older than 18-years-old.

Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) Director of Policy Jessica Vaughan told Breitbart News that there are more anchor babies than estimated because the CBO data does not include the U.S.-born children who have departed the country when their parents were deported. Vaughan said these anchor babies can still eventually return to the U.S. as citizens and sponsor foreign relatives through chain migration.

This has to be one of the most harmful things to our country today. It’s bad enough that we have generational welfare, but we also have generational bennies to exponential numbers of supposedly legal chain immigrants.

Anchor babies are more of a scourge than DACA. With anchor babies, their parents break the border, fornicate on U.S. soil, then 9 months later the illegal alien mother gives birth in a U.S. medical facility where the entire procedure is funded by U.S. taxpayer dollars. This is a double kick in the groin to all Americans. Then we get a third kick when the anchor brings in a relative. No wonder these people laugh at us. Could you imagine being an American citizen breaking the Mexican border, knocking up some woman, having the kid at the expense of the Mexican taxpayer, then declaring the kid is a bona fide Mexican citizen? How long you think it’d take before you were arrested or shot on sight? Something needs to be done with the judges and lawyers in this country who’ve given us the kinds of court cases which stand as precedent for this crap and nonsense and continue to be cited day after day after day.

1. End chain migration.

2. End the visa lottery.

3. End the inaccurate interpretation of the 14th Amendment that gives anchor babies born to illegals (and thus not “subject to the jurisdiction thereof”) citizenship.

4. Deport all illegals. No exceptions.

5. Build the wall.

6. Then, and only then, reform legal immigration so that those who want to work and whose presence will help both the country as a whole and working Americans can come here more easily, subject to the numbers and qualifications determined by Congress.

Then, there is no daddy claimed, even if he lives with mamma...so they get additional child support $$ along with WICefits.

Along comes a flood or hurricane and anchor baby gets free hotel rooms for its family for MONTHS!! Just amazing!!!

Washington is stupid.

I did my OB rotation during my internship at LAC USC in the 80’s. We used to joke we made more citizens then a Federal Judge.
